The Power BI connector provides access to fund performance data (returns, NAV, AUM), risk statistics (Sharpe ratio, Sortino ratio, VaR, drawdown), peer group rankings, performance attribution, portfolio exposure data, screening results, portfolio construction output and any other data generated within AlternativeSoft.
Data refresh frequency is configurable. Scheduled refresh (hourly, daily, or on-demand) is available for all users aligned with your fund data update frequency — typically daily for performance data and monthly for fund characteristics.
Yes. Power BI's data model allows data from multiple sources to be combined in the same report. AlternativeSoft hedge fund analytics data can be combined with Bloomberg data, internal portfolio systems, risk management systems, accounting data or any other Power BI-connected data source.
